Origin
A Regrip Job That Turned Into an Argument
The shop opened as a two-bench repair room doing regrips, reshafts, and loft-lie corrections for three area courses. In its first winter a member brought in a set of irons complaining that the 6-iron "fought him". The heads were within spec on the sole stamp. The lofts were fine. The lengths were fine.
The heads themselves were not fine. Weighed one at a time, the 6-iron head came in eleven grams heavier than the 5 and the 7 either side of it. Nobody had ever checked, because nobody sells a service called "check whether the heads are the weight the box says".
That single set decided what the business would be. Within a year the repair room had a proper measuring station, a printed card format, and a rule that no head goes into epoxy before it goes on the scale.

The room today
Two Benches, One Station, No Showroom
We deliberately never built a retail floor. There is a hitting bay with a net and a launch unit, a component room organised by weight class, two assembly benches, and a measuring station with a swingweight scale, a digital gram scale, a frequency meter, and a loft-lie machine.
What you will not find is a wall of display drivers with price tags. Anything on a rack here is a component waiting to be part of a build, not merchandise waiting for a buyer.
Sunday is closed to the public because that is when component orders are unpacked, weighed, and logged into the rack system. Every shaft that enters this building has been on a scale before it is offered to anyone.

No Brand Quota
Nobody buys shelf space here. Component choice comes out of the mass plan and nowhere else.
Cure Overnight
Epoxy gets a full night minimum. Same-day pickup is possible only on regrips and adapter swaps.

Memphis Turf Changes What We Build
The clubs that work here are not the clubs that work in a dry mountain climate. Bermuda fairways cut tight give up very little forgiveness on a wide sole, and the humidity that arrives in May turns a worn grip into a hazard by the ninth tee.
So our default wedge grinds run a little more relieved in the heel, our default grip recommendations lean toward corded or hybrid textures, and we build in more frequent regrip cycles than a shop in a drier state would suggest. It is not dogma — it is what comes back in from local players two summers later.
We fit players from across the metro area and out toward Collierville and Bartlett, plus a steady run of visitors who drive over from Arkansas and north Mississippi for the bench work.
